I'm not complaining

It's just that my Mum and Dad are both in New York at the moment and I have just received an email from LouBon who is in India for the next two weeks with her beau, Paul. Both sets of people deserve to have a wonderful time in their respective places BUT I wish I was there with them too!!

To set the scene a bit; my Mum has an exhibition in a place called Adirondack in the state of New York and whilst it is nearly on the Canadian border they are staying with my cousin Luis in Manhattan, in an apartment opposite Central Park before they move on to Adirondack. Apparently Woody Allen lives in the same building ..........

LouBon and Paul have hired a car and are roadtripping it around India where the temperature is currently in the mid 30s. Niiiiiice. Oh I do wish them well!!!

I, on the other hand, am sitting with my mac (which has been suffering from the a pink screen syndrome for the last few months) on my lap and am looking out onto a very grey skyline in Stevenage. Booooooooooo.

Oh, and I am going through the last few changes of my dissertation before handing it in officially next week. Great.

Oh well, Johnny Cash is playing in the background and my boy is working on a new version for my blog, life ain't so bad after all!!

Two good things

... happened to Rich and I this weekend:

1) I finished my dissertation - 15 and half thousand words!

2) Rich's photographic website was nominated as best photoblog in Western Europe by '2007 Photobloggies' awards people. The finalists will be announced in May.
