He's making a list, he's checking it twice

Dear Santa,

This year for Christmas I would dearly love to have something that would cure my hangovers. Either that or something that will stop me from drinking quite so much.

You see dearest Santa, drinking wine and champagne on a school night is such a bad idea and I should know this by now but I never seem to learn my lesson.

Send my regards to Mrs Claus and tell the elfs that their chocolate coins are in the post.

Bestest wishes,
Tania Cristina

I thought I knew them!

Friendships never cease to amaze me.

Last night I went out with two of my oldest friends from school. I'd like to think that as we have known each other well for at least twelve years (actually the other two have know each other since they were five) that we have each other sussed out pretty damn well by now.

As we sat gossiping about love, life and everyting in between in a great pub, in East Finchley called 'Thw White Lion' which i highly recommend, we decided to play a board game called 'scruples' which the pub loans out.

The whole point of the game is that you have a card wich poses a dilemma and you have another card with the answer, 'yes', 'no' or 'depends' on it. You have to decide which opponent will give you the answer that is on your answer card from the dilemma that you will pose to them. The object of the game is to get rid of your five dilemma cards before your other opponents.

We decided that it would be more fun to play it truthfully rather than strategically so that we would find out more about each other. What i mean by this is that if you were playing it strategically and you were asked (as i was last night) if you found a wallet with £150.00 in it and by the name and address in the wallet you could tell that the person was well off would you pocket the money before handing the wallet in? Now my friend asked me for an answer and knowing me sufficiently well she knew that i would answer 'No', i would not pocket the money. If we had been playing strategically and she had asked me believing that i would honestly answer no then i would have answered yes, thereby throwing her off my expected answer.

Anyway the point of this whole explanation and to be honest i am now unsure if the above makes sense was that i found out a lot more about my friends than I ever thought i would....! One them is the most moral and immoral (about silly things) although I already knew that about her and the other also managed to surprise me a couple of times. Eg. you suspect your mother is having an affair with your neighbour would you tell your father. She said she wouldn't as it was only suspected and there was no actual proof as such. Interesting eh?!!!

Well it was to me!

Anyway if you come across that game on your travels and you see it for sale, then buy it! Or if you happen to be in a pub and they have it their on loan, then play it!!!

Yours, morally harris xxx
