My 22nd post on the 22nd of this month

Well I have been back for five days from Rome and tonight Cappella (my cat) finally bit me as punishment for leaving him for few days with only the next door neighbours to feed him. Now I don't want any negative comments about how vicious he is... I believe it adds character. What I get cross with is that he is sneaky. He lulls me into a false sense of security by settling himself on my lap, he purrs like mad, he feigns sleep and THEN he a t t a c k s ! ! ! !

Anyway that's all for now except to say that Cappella is back and I will be watching my toes and hands tonight on my way to bed. Boy, it's like having a prowler around the house that I need to creep around otherwise they might catch me and clobber me over the head.

Uh oh.... he's looking to snuggle up to me again...... h e l p .........!!!!

Socorro!!!

24 hours of goodness followed by 24 hours of badness

Well here i am at home again with another effing infection. Grrrrrr!

Woke up this morning and felt in absolute agony so took myself off to the nurse for some antibiotics and dropped by at work to pick up some files and do some work at home. Am now tucked up in bed feeling pretty wretched and wondering why it is that all the pages currently being uploaded onto blogger are on the subject of 'Free Penis Enlargers' oh dear......how ironic, as that is exactly what i DON'T fancy right now (never mind that i am female and thus said freebie would be no good to me anyway, but you get the point that i am trying to make, right?!)

Anyway January has proved to be an unbelievably rubbish month and to be honest February hasn't started that well either but I am ever hopeful that things will improve :)

Anyway on monday night i was swept off my feet and taken to London for a lovely and well deserved night out. Stopped off in China town to admire the chinese new year decorations and Rich took the opportunity to practice with his new camera which is just blooming fantastic! He makes me laugh - he has read the manual twice and has bought himself a digital photography book which I am fairly certain he has read cover to cover too. Now if it was me i would have flicked through the manual picked up the basics and probably taken some really shocking photos - however Rich I think is of the school of thought which goesa little like this 'if something is worth doing then it is worth doing properly' so his photos have come out looking really decent so far.

I do love this digital malarkey - but i did a photography course and loved the whole process of developing a film and getting the print just right on the enlarger and then watching the image slowly unfurl in the chemicals....... it is a very hands on which i really appreciate and if it was down to me i would build a dark room in my house.

Anyway yesterday another two things happened to me which i thought signalled the arrival of my guardian angels and meant that the rubbish last three weeks that a lot of people of late have also been having were finally over. I got asked to go down to my reception at work where a 'delivery' was waiting for me to pick up. When i got there i was handed a beautiful bouquet of purple tulips that had been sent from my friend who was trying to cheeer me up! Then last night i listened to a sung (!) voice mail from another friend which went something a little like this 'I just called to say I love you...'

Apart from being eternally grateful to Church and LouBon for the pick me up's it really made me think about how I must have been sounding pretty bad of late and how very nice they both are for coming to my rescue!!

Enough of the misery - happy times are on their way, starting today!!

Yours Yarris xxxx
